At the end of ramp next to the Green Door

At the end of ramp next to the Green Door has a small box with several Israeli policemen. When we approached the door to two policemen approached us and started asking questions - who we are where we are and what the purpose of our visit. It seemed strange that in a group of American tourists were two Canadians and one Japanese. All were white caps with the logo of the expedition to the places of "Chronicles of mankind" and asked the police why I cap blue. At first glance, the questions asked and unconstrained unemotional tone, but the police have worked professionally. Their goal - to identify potential violators of peace. ": A test of Israeli police, however, it has merely ce. As soon as we entered the door and stepped on the gigantic stone platform, we approached two men in Arab robes. They provided our tours, but tried not to release us from the entrance and the bombing different issues. In the end, I had the impression that they were concerned about the number of groups (more than thirty people), as well as the fact that a large part of it were women.
Entering the green door, you find yourself in front of a passage, the right of which lies the Al-Aqsa, and on the left and a little further - Temple Rocks, which was built ca elevated platform. Some of us turned to the right, but the guides (probably employed by the Muslim Council), then block their way. "The mosque can not be! The mosque can not be!" - They shouted.
It became clear that we were not allowed to freely roam on the magnificent platform, so we insisted that we allowed to inspect the Temple Rocks. We need to wait, explained guides (or guard) - stepped hour prayer. It sounded strange, because the Church of rocks was not a mosque, but there was no point in arguing. Razrep1eniya While waiting, we are situated in the shade of trees. Very strange - or better to say, unexpected - has proved to us the presence of trees at a distance from the earth. Even more strange look, the fact that the trees were everywhere (they sometimes grow quite dense groups), except for the elevated platform on which stood the Temple Rocks (Fig. 150). Why do trees do not grow in the Holy Rock? I took this question out loud, attracting the attention of the whole group.
